Role Overview
Safety Officer responsible for overseeing health and safety activities at construction sites.
The role supports regulatory compliance and promotes a safe working environment for employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company and UAE safety regulations.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and workers on safety matters.
Requirements
- An SSRS card is required.
- At least 2–5 years of construction site safety experience.
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A UAE driving license is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Dubai or plan to relocate before starting work.
Employment
