The role reports to the RTS Chief Mechanic or designee and is based in Banbury, UK.
The coordinator supports day-to-day departmental operations and contributes to organisational objectives and service, compliance and performance standards.
Role-specific duties
- Manage allocation and service-turnaround processes and maintain accurate digital mileage tracking.
- Support Race Team Support and Sub Assembly & Composites departments and coordinate race-car part allocations.
- Cycle components through the season to meet trackside quantities while respecting component life limits.
- Coordinate turnaround plans with Logistics and freight dates.
- Maintain assembly build sheets and Lifecheck data, including component selection, reset parameters and mileage intervals.
- Coordinate inventory status and compliance with operational departments.
- Support turnarounds, engineering projects, car builds and event support.
Role expectations
- Follow team engineering procedures and protocols for assembly, operation and safety.
- Complete work efficiently to expected service, quality and compliance standards and agreed timescales.
- Maintain professional accountability, communicate with colleagues and stakeholders, and escalate complex matters when needed.
- Follow legislation, policies and internal controls; handle confidential information responsibly.
- Participate in audit, governance, risk management and continuous improvement activities.
