Room Attendant role at a Hilton hotel, responsible for guest-room cleanliness and service.
Room attendant duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Change and replenish linens, towels, and amenities; perform deep cleaning as needed.
- Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping cart; dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Respond to special guest requests and provide turndown service as needed.
Requirements
- Two years of cleaning experience is required; previous Room Attendant and guest service experience are assets, not requirements.
- Effective written and spoken English communication is required.
- Must be available for weekday and weekend shifts and complete a criminal background check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
- Work involves extended standing and walking, moving or pushing loads up to 23 kg, frequent bending and similar movements, and manual equipment use.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Compensation
- Permanent position paying $19.09 per hour.
