Role overview

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and assigned areas to luxury hotel standards.
• Change linens, replace towels, replenish amenities and supplies, and prepare rooms for arrivals.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation; report maintenance issues, damage, and lost property.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, safety, security, and room-access procedures while respecting privacy.
• Maintain equipment, trolleys, and supplies; use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Follow hotel procedures and contribute to attentive, personalized service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, is sought.
• Knowledge of room cleaning, hygiene, housekeeping practices, cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling.
• Attention to detail, time management, organization, communication, teamwork, and ability to follow procedures.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and push a housekeeping trolley.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, guest-service commitment, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Work environment

• Hotel housekeeping role based at Raffles & Fairmont Doha in Doha, Qatar.
• The duties involve servicing physical guest rooms and assigned hotel areas.
