Flynn is seeking to hire a Roofing Foreman through the union Local No. 96

Job Summary:

As a Foreman, you are responsible for your crew’s production, safety, and quality of work, while also planning day‐to‐day operations. You will supervise and direct the field crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. You will work alongside your crew each day to install commercial roofing systems, primarily single‐ply roofing (TPO, PVC, etc.). Candidates for this role must be proficient in commercial roofing applications and possess the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this position.

Daily Responsibilities

Install various flat-roofing systems on commercial buildings: TPO, EPDM and PVC, BUR etc.

Successfully train and provide support to the crew

Maintain quality installation of all assigned projects

Meet production goals within a given deadline

Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project

Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections.

Follow and enforce all safety standards

Requirements

5+ years' commercial roofing experience with various commercial roofing systems: TPO, EPDM, Built-up, and/or others.

Has a valid driver’s license (driving record must be in accordance with company policies)

Able to train and mentor new employees

Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control

Ability to learn and follow safety policies and standards

Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed

Able to pass a background check and work on federal job sites Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship)
