Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rolling Stock Engineer to join the Heavy Maintenance team. This safety-critical role involves overseeing the overhaul, maintenance, and performance of passenger train systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and leadership in managing complex maintenance operations to ensure reliability and safety of the fleet.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Rolling Stock Maintenance, including at least 3 years in major overhaul activities
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of traction systems, auxiliary power, HVAC, and traction motor overhaul
• Ability to interpret as-built drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Experience in operating HVAC and traction motor test benches
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems (MMS)
• Mandatory Criteria: Proven experience in overhaul maintenance of electrical equipment and train systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work shifts and irregular hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all rolling stock maintenance activities comply with strict safety and operational standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for train maintenance processes
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules as per MMS and ensure quality completion
• Monitor, audit, and ensure zero-incident performance in maintenance operations
• Lead and support the maintenance team, promoting safety, quality, and efficiency
