About This Role
Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced
Road Engineer
to join our growing infrastructure and roads division in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage road construction activities on-site
- Ensure project execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and survey teams
- Monitor project progress, quality, and productivity
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports
- Manage asphalt works, road base, utilities coordination, and earthworks activities
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality and project requirements
- Assist in planning, material coordination, and technical problem-solving
- Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and work schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5–10 years of UAE experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Road construction
- Asphalt works
- Earthworks
- Utilities & drainage works
- Infrastructure projects
- Experience with Abu Dhabi infrastructure standards is mandatory
- Strong coordination and site management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting
- UAE Driving License preferred
- Immediate joiners highly preferred
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in major infrastructure and roads projects in the UAE
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
