All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date.

Associates Degree AND 2 years of experience in the specialty area will be accepted in lieu of BSN

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :

1 year nursing experience or previous OR experience.

One year Endoscopy experience

Current NJ RN licensure, American Heart Association CPR certification, ACLS

Certification in specialty

Must pass annual clinical competency based program and mandated in-service education.

Unit specific skills may include but not limited to IV therapy, basic arrhythmia interpretation,conscious sedation, and EndTidal CO2.

will be determined by a challenge exam and/or skill performance or by completion of a Staff Development course.
