Sr Accountant

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter journal entries for assigned accounts.
• Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and accruals.
• Prepare financial reports that comply with external reporting requirements.
• Download monthly and quarterly bank statements for reconciliations and journal entries.
• Analyze assigned cost centers against budget, actuals, and prior periods.
• Provide ad hoc revenue and expense analyses for management.
• Gather and report statistical information for financial reporting.
• Assist with year-end audits by assembling supporting documents and prepared schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Three to five years of directly related professional experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
• Detailed knowledge of accounting principles.
• Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or nonprofit finance experience.
• Two to three years of accounting experience in a certified public accounting firm.
• CPA certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation

• The stated hiring range is potential base compensation and may vary based on relevant experience, education, internal equity, and specialty.
