All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

OR if Associates Degree or Diploma must be enrolled in BSN program and completed within 4 years of hire.

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :

One year of acute care experience.

At least one year of labor or level 2 nursery experience.

Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS Certification.

NRP certification is required within 6 months of hire or by completion of orientation.

All staff that care for patients in the PACU must complete ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Certification in specialty.

NCC EFM certification within 1 year of hire.

Fetal heart rate monitoring education is required by completion of orientation to Labor and Delivery.

Completion of the STABLE Course within 1 year of hire
