Chief Operating Officer (COO)

📍 Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is considered one of the key leadership positions within the organization.

About the Role

Asdaf Al Arabia is seeking an experienced and highly capable executive leader to join our team as

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company's operational and service activities, ensuring effective coordination between departments, driving operational excellence, enhancing service quality, and supporting the company's strategic growth objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to improve operational performance, strengthen service delivery, optimize organizational efficiency, and contribute to the long-term growth of the company.

1. Executive Operations Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight of all operational and service-related activities across the organization.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and performance objectives.
  • Improve operational procedures, workflows, and efficiency.
  • Monitor project execution, contract performance, and service delivery.
  • Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.

  • Oversight of Operational and Service Sectors
  • Provide executive oversight across all company services, including but not limited to:
  • Logistics Services

• Workforce Accommodation & Camp Management

  • Cleaning Services

• Business Support Services

  • Any future services introduced by the company

3. Customer Experience & Contract Performance Oversight

  • Oversee overall customer satisfaction and service quality performance.
  • Monitor the performance of the Marketing & Customer Relations Department.
  • Review customer feedback, complaints, and operational observations.
  • Participate in strategic and operational meetings with key clients when required.
  • Ensure operational departments comply with contractual obligations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support the Marketing & Customer Relations Department in resolving operational issues affecting clients.
  • Recommend service improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.

4. Quality, Development & Compliance Oversight

  • Oversee operational compliance with approved policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Review reports and findings issued by the Quality, Development & Control Department.
  • Monitor audit, inspection, compliance, and performance reports.
  • Ensure corrective actions and non-conformance resolutions are implemented effectively.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and quality performance indicators.
  • Support continuous improvement and organizational development initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with the Quality, Development & Control Department to improve operational performance and service quality.

5. Project & Contract Management

  • Monitor the execution of operational projects and service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and operational commitments.
  • Support project mobilization, implementation, and expansion plans.
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure successful project delivery.

6. Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise department managers, supervisors, and operational team leaders.
  • Build a performance-driven and accountability-focused work culture.
  • Develop employee capabilities and improve organizational performance.
  • Promote collaboration and integration across all departments.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.

& Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree minimum (Master's Degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations Management, Service Management, or Project Management.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and service sectors simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Experience in logistics, operations, facilities management, catering, accommodation services, or related sectors is highly preferred.
