Role responsibilities

• Develop and monitor risk, issue, and opportunity management processes.
• Maintain a risk matrix covering dependencies and the impacts of missed scheduled dates.
• Identify and monitor dependencies, resolve related issues, and coordinate discussions to realize opportunities.
• Maintain active risk management across projects and implement the Risk Management Plan, Risk Log, and governance process.
• Ensure risks are identified, recorded, evaluated, managed, reassessed, and communicated across the programme.
• Manage inter-programme, external, and internal programme risks; update the Risk Log against status reports and meetings.
• Provide timely project status information, monitor progress, and drive project delivery.
• Enable programme-level risk and opportunity management, project coherence, and management of interdependencies.
• Set and uphold appropriate legal and commercial standards and support value for money through supplier negotiations.
• Transfer knowledge and skills to the client and implement best-practice management and administrative processes.

About you

• At least 20 years of risk management experience, including at least three years as a Risk Manager in construction or engineering.
• Rail or metro project experience is required.
• Graduate in engineering, business, or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications or equivalent are also cited.
• Risk Management qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Understanding and experience of complex projects, a risk management track record, and strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
