Risk Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework aligned with COSO principles and ADDA standards.
• Define risk management policies, procedures, and governance structures at the corporate level.
• Maintain updated risk registers covering key organizational risks.
• Lead systematic identification and assessment of risks across business processes and projects.
• Develop risk heatmaps and matrices to support management decision-making.
• Facilitate risk workshops with leadership and operational teams.
• Define and oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
• Assign risk ownership and monitor the execution and effectiveness of mitigation plans.
• Support the development of contingency and business continuity plans.
• Continuously monitor organizational risk exposure and emerging threats.
• Produce periodic risk reports and maintain a corporate risk dashboard for senior management oversight.
• Provide expert advice to management on risk governance and internal control.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote a risk-aware culture across the entities.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager) is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Governance, or Compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.
• Experience liaising with regulators, external auditors, and government authorities.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, enterprise risk principles (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000, ADDA standards knowledge), and internal control standards.
• Ability to design and deliver training on risk management processes, controls, and risk awareness programs.
• Experience using risk management systems, risk assessment tools, and reporting software.
• Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading) is required.
