The Risk Manager / Dealer manages market, liquidity, and client trading risk across a CFD platform.
The position combines dealing desk operations with risk oversight to protect brokerage profitability and stability.
Risk management
- Monitor real-time client exposure across CFD instruments including FX, indices, commodities, crypto, and equities.
- Define and enforce risk limits by instrument, client, and group; identify toxic flow, arbitrage, latency abuse, and market manipulation.
- Manage exposure through internalization and external hedging decisions; stress-test portfolios for volatility and news events.
Dealing and platform oversight
- Oversee execution quality and liquidity-provider price feeds; maintain accurate pricing, spreads, swaps, and contract specifications.
- Intervene in exceptional market conditions, execute hedging trades, and coordinate symbol halts, leverage changes, or margin adjustments.
- Configure platform margin, leverage, and stop-out settings; monitor high-volume execution and work with IT and platform providers to resolve issues.
Compliance and reporting
- Ensure regulatory and internal-policy compliance; maintain audit trails and support compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly risk and P&L reports and analyze profitability, instrument performance, and exposure concentration.
- Recommend risk strategies to senior management.
Experience
- 5 years of MT5 dealing operations experience is required.
- 4 years of risk management experience is required.
- Dubai is the stated required location.
Pay and employment
- Full-time position.
- Pay starts at AED 15,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
