Role overview
The associate supports the Engine Risk & Compliance team in operating within risk frameworks, policies, and risk appetite.
The role helps maintain certifications and meet Group, Engine, regulatory, and industry standards across the UK and client jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks; assist with self-assessments, risk-register maintenance, and action tracking.
- Support committee arrangements and management information for Engine and Group committees and the Engine Board.
- Conduct horizon scanning and escalate relevant matters.
- Support client due diligence, KYB documentation, sanctions and client screening, and third-party risk assessments.
- Monitor mandatory compliance training and maintain Gifts & Hospitality and Conflicts of Interest registers.
- Support assurance reviews and the effective operation of the Risk & Compliance Framework across teams.
