Role overview

What you’ll do

• Produce, govern, evolve and explain property policy requirements and standards to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support mortgage application processes and engage with solicitors and internal stakeholders.
• Advise existing customers completing complex onward transactions.
• Make decisions and challenge the status quo when appropriate.
• Respond to complex solicitor queries on live mortgage applications and help customers realise the potential in their property.
• Keep informed about industry and government policy developments.

About you

• Proven decision-making skills at individual and broader levels.
• Good knowledge of the house buying and selling process.
• Proven experience in a risk-based property or housing-market role.
• Interest in developing new approaches to complex problems.
• Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with varied audiences, tailoring detail as appropriate.
• Expected to demonstrate customer-first behaviours, including empathy, honest communication, continuous improvement and accountability.

Workplace and schedule

• Hybrid working is offered wherever possible.
• The role requires at least two days per week at the London or Bournemouth office; part-time employees spend 40% of working time there.

Compensation

• Salary is stated as starting from £32,800; no pay cadence is specified.
