About the Role

This internship will be for a fixed period of 6 months within the various teams with BDO UAE. The intern will be assigned to one of the following projects, with the opportunity to effectively collaborate and support senior associates and stakeholders.

About You:

• Demonstrate understanding of MS office applications (specifically word and excel)
• Learn and develop effective communication skills
• Always demonstrate professionalism and competence.
• Co-ordinate with senior(s) to understand the tasks assigned on given engagement and provide regular
• Update on the status of the assigned tasks.
• Reflect the learning mindset and commitment to assigned tasks.
• Respond promptly and accurately to the requests / queries from the senior(s).
• Seek autonomy; develop confidence in dealing with peers, seniors.
• Contribute ideas / opinions, listen/respond to other team members’ views.
• Take action to integrate into the team and the firm, be curious and open, build trust and listen to colleagues. Treat everyone equally and respectfully.
• Ensure that there are proper communication and handover of the working papers to seniors.
• Take ownership for own development, be candid in self-assessment, be receptive to feedback and seek it.
• Understand and follow BDO CORE values: Collaboration, Ownership, Respect & Ethics. Always uphold the CORE values.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in Finance and pursuing professional qualifications (CA/ACCA/CPA)
• Arabic language skill is mandatory
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
