Responsibilities
- Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories before use; remove damaged items from service.
- Select gear according to load weight, shape, centre of gravity, and the lifting plan; secure and balance loads.
- Coordinate with the crane operator, lifting supervisor, and signalman; use authorized hand signals or radio communication.
- Conduct trial lifts; use tag lines where appropriate and keep a safe distance while controlling loads.
- Keep people clear of suspended loads, guide loads to stable landing positions, and remove gear only when loads are supported.
- Follow the approved plan, wear required PPE, stop unsafe work, store accessories properly, and report defects, hazards, and incidents.
Work Location
- Work location is in person.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,200–1,400 per month.
Requirements
- Inspect and use lifting accessories safely, removing damaged equipment from service.
- Follow the approved lifting plan and wear required PPE.
- Coordinate with the crane operator, lifting supervisor, and designated signalman.
- Use agreed hand signals or radio communication when authorized to act as signalman.
