Full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role supporting construction projects in the United Arab Emirates.
The engineer works on building mechanical systems and coordinates with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Design, review, and implement HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services systems.
- Prepare and check mechanical drawings and specifications; coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and standards; inspect sites, monitor installations, and troubleshoot issues.
- Check materials and equipment against project requirements, and contribute to documentation, reporting, and engineering practice improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, including building services and construction-related systems.
- Machine design, R&D, CAD, and project management skills are required.
- Building construction project experience is required; UAE or broader GCC experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards is required.
- Proficiency in engineering and CAD software is required; BIM tool knowledge is an advantage.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organization, and adaptability skills are expected.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,500 to AED 5,000 per month.
Work location
- The role is on-site and work is in person.
