Role overview

Revenue and hotel operations

• Support hotel general managers, assistant general managers, and directors of sales.
• Monitor competitor pricing and local demand, then present recommended actions to the revenue committee.
• Chair daily, weekly, and monthly revenue meetings; produce reports and share action plans.
• Coordinate yield management and manage the property management system daily.
• Review group proposals and collaborate with sales and hotel leaders on group rates and guidelines.
• Monitor group blocks, room availability, pickup history, and cutoff dates.
• Develop pricing and market mix strategies; communicate walk-in rates and pricing strategies.
• Prepare weekly and long-range room forecasts; assist with hotel budgets and results analysis.
• Monitor reservations performance, identify revenue opportunities, and review reports including STR reports.
• Work with sales teams on packages, online visibility, RFP and negotiated rates, analysis, training, and data collection.
• Communicate occupancy fluctuations to operating departments to support staffing and efficiency.
• Respond to guest requests or complaints and direct issues to the appropriate department.

• Travel to properties, potentially including extended stays, may be needed depending on training and operational needs.

Salary

• Listed salary range is $72,000 to $78,000 per year.
