Retail Representative - Nordel - Temporary

Role overview

Hours

• Monday to Friday between 8:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Shifts vary; flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers courteously in person and by telephone; upsell and cross-sell corporate products and services.
• Handle inquiries and complaints and resolve shipment, equipment, and technology issues.
• Coordinate with head office, managers, drivers, warehouse staff, account managers, and corporate partners.
• Build positive relationships with customers and key contacts, including vendors and building tenants.
• Help customers with shipping details and account challenges; load, scan, log, and call about resolution freight.
• Reconcile cash and deposits, maintain key control, communicate positively, and represent company values.
• Follow company policies and safety standards and maintain punctuality and attendance.

Requirements and experience

• English proficiency is required for frequent stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and stand for three-hour intervals.
• Strong communication, listening, relationship-building, problem-solving, and technology-adaptation skills.
• Three to twelve months of customer service, retail, or technology/POS experience is preferred.
• Team and independent work experience and experience in a safety-regulated environment are assets.
• Personal accountability, attention to detail, attendance, and uniform compliance are expected.
