Overview

• **Just Optic** is a growing optical retail company operating multiple stores across leading shopping malls in Dubai.
• Our stores offer a complete range of optical products and services, including:
• Prescription eyewear
• Sunglasses
• Ophthalmic lenses
• Contact lenses
• Vision testing and optometry services
• We are currently looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Optometrist to join our team.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional eye examinations and vision tests
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refraction.
• Assess visual needs and recommend suitable corrective solutions.
• Prescribe and recommend ophthalmic lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
• Educate customers on lens options, coatings, contact lens care, and eye health.
• Support retail sales by providing professional product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and company procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Work closely with store teams to achieve service and sales objectives.
• Stay updated with current optical products, technologies, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Optometry
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter
• Experience in optical retail stores
• Experience in eye testing and contact lens fitting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a retail environment.

Preferred

• Sales experience in eyeglasses, lenses and sunglasses
• Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Experience working in an optical store or optical retail chain.
• UAE optical retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience recommending lenses, frames, and contact lenses to customers.
• Familiarity with insurance and vision testing procedures is beneficial.
