Restaurant Hostess

Overview

• Only UAE nationals can apply for this role
• Ensures welcome desk/door is always manned so that all customers receive a friendly & prompt
• welcome.
• Manage reservations and maximise restaurant occupancy
• Call reserved guests and confirm their reservation on date of arrival. If needed inform them
• about any changes to their reservations or dine-in experience that would be expected.
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for customers according
• to the Restaurant Reservations procedures.
• Able to spot a sales opportunity to up sell products and service to existing or potential guests
• Have full knowledge of the menu and is able to confidently give descriptions to a customer
• Able to make simple decisions that affect the customers' experience in a positive manner
• Ensure problems are dealt with immediately and proactively with the support of Restaurant

Manager

• Identify customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs,
• and provide appropriate products, services or information.
• Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation
• according to individual level of responsibility and customer feedback/ complaint procedures.
• Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met.
• Answers telephone within the time frame set.
• Fully knowledgeable in recording guest reservations, reviewing feedback on online platforms
• and giving feedback in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to date information on food menu, promotions and what's on offers
• Collect Guest feedback when leaving the restaurant along with his likes and dislikes.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
