1.
Performs side-works during and at the end of each shift, such as; menu wiping, refilling of silver trays, cleaning high chairs, restroom check, pager inventory, arranging side stations, and updating the table map.
2.
Responsible for selling, developing, conducting inventory, and managing all the restaurant’s retail items.
3.
Provides precise information and addresses guests’ queries by establishing a strong knowledge about the facilities of the restaurant, its daily events and functions, and social events in the country.
4.
Maintains a complete and updated knowledge of all our foods and beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation.
5.
Sustains a friendly interaction with guests along with providing useful information about the restaurant’s services and facilities, such as; the menu, designated dining areas, comfort rooms, and existing discounts and promotions.
6.
Demonstrates welcoming the guests with a warm and courteous greeting upon their arrival and escorting them to designated/reserved tables, and bids them farewell at the time of leaving.
7.
Estimates wait times to the guests and hands them pagers whenever the restaurant is full.
8.
Maintains a guest history record of birthdays, special occasions, preferences of regular guests, and uses the same information to create a more personalized service.
9.
Monitors reservations, table allocations, waiting lists, and discounts redemptions.
10.
Checks reservation book on a regular basis for the next reservation.
11.
Ensures that standard procedures concerning billing, takeaways, discounts and promotional details, shisha rules, standard operating procedures, and outside food policies are accurately carried out and strictly observed.
12.
Presents menu to the guests while at the waiting area and explains the restaurant’s pagers’ range to them.
13.
Courteously escorts guests to preferred tables upon availability and introduces them to the attending servers.
14.
Coordinates with the runners about open and dirty tables for cleaning and set up.
15.
Answers telephone calls, and takes daily guests’ reservations and inquiries.
16.
Ensures effective and fast delivery of services at all times.
17.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the restaurant in alliance with the hygiene standards through random restroom checks, dining facilities inspection, checking the side stations, and informs the housekeepers should any of them require cleaning.
