Position Responsibilities
- Code interviews in MAXQDA
- Assist with preparing and carrying out in depth interviews with immigrants
- Identify potential interviewees through social media, advertisements, and snowball sampling
- Conduct secondary research
- In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base rate for this position is $30/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
- Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be hybrid, with up to two days per week in person.
- Note: No supervisory duties are required for this position.
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of ethnographic research and coding practices
- Ability to use MAXQDA
- Fluency in Spanish
