Join HuDa Lab as a Junior Research Scientist or Engineer designing and building novel decision-support systems and tools.
Research work
- Design and implement systems and tools, then evaluate their effectiveness through comparative performance evaluations or user studies.
- Present work, progress, and challenges clearly; contribute to research findings and publications.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a master's degree with fewer than five years of relevant research experience.
- Demonstrated experience in systems or tool building, algorithmic thinking, and research.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and other programming frameworks; strong coding and reproducible experimentation practices.
- Work independently or as part of a team, communicate progress clearly, and meet deadlines.
Desirable background
- Familiarity with declarative programming, SQL, and data management is highly desirable.
- Advanced coursework or projects in systems, HCI, or AI/ML are desirable.
