Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst supports Project Controls by collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating project performance information across cost, schedule, risk, deliverables, and resource management functions for an assigned project. The role develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide the project team and leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support decision-making.

Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Two to five years of experience in project reporting, project controls, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

Experience using Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and related reporting or analytical tools.

Experience working with large datasets and consolidating information from different data sources.

Experience supporting engineering, construction, nuclear, infrastructure, or major capital project environments is considered an asset.

Knowledge of project controls principles, including schedule, cost, risk, progress, and performance reporting.

Understanding of KPI development, dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.

Familiarity with systems such as EcoSys, Primavera P6, Oracle, SAP, or similar project management systems is considered an asset.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex project data into clear and practical insights.

Power BI dashboard development and DAX.

Data modeling, transformation, and analytics.

Advanced Excel and Power Query.

Executive reporting and presentation development.

Project controls, schedule, risk, deliverable, and resource reporting.

Data quality management, validation, and reconciliation.
