Role overview

Reporting and analysis

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, datasets, models, templates, and calculation logic.
• Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze data from project controls systems and other approved sources.
• Deliver weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, metrics, KPIs, scorecards, forecasts, and project health views.
• Perform data quality checks, validation, health checks, and reconciliation; identify trends, anomalies, gaps, and risks.

Project support and improvement

• Collaborate with project controls, planning, risk, engineering, and project management stakeholders on reporting solutions.
• Prepare executive presentations, management reports, review materials, custom analyses, and reporting extracts.
• Support Earned Value Management, project reviews, performance assessments, and project controls processes.
• Maintain governance standards, reporting calendars, documented procedures, and reporting tools; support automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Two to five years in project reporting, project controls, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, Power Query, large datasets, and consolidating data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of project controls, including schedule, cost, risk, progress, and performance reporting.
• Understanding of KPI development, dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; can explain complex data clearly.

Assets and preferred skills

• Engineering, construction, nuclear, infrastructure, or major capital project experience is an asset.
• EcoSys, Primavera P6, Oracle, SAP, or similar project management system familiarity is an asset.
• Preferred skills include Power BI dashboard development and DAX, data modeling and transformation, advanced Excel and Power Query, and executive reporting.
• Preferred skills include project controls reporting, data quality, validation and reconciliation, automation, and continuous improvement.
