Renewable Plant - Onboarding Engineer
Role Overview
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 We are looking for a Renewable Plant - Onboarding Engineer on behalf of our client.
This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will support the onboarding of new renewable generation and battery energy storage facilities into Power Generation Division operations and the NERC Compliance program.
You will report to the onsite Manager.
These documents include electrical drawings, equipment specifications, power system studies, protection and control settings, commissioning documentation, power system models, and test results.
We will place emphasis on NERC MOD-related modeling, testing, and model verification.

- Proficiency in power flow and dynamic simulation tools (PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD). Familiarity with NERC compliance and MOD testing standards. Scripting and data tools experience (Python, Power Automate, Power BI).
