Qualifications
- Required: · Minimum high school diploma or GED required. · Ability to pass all background and screening requirements for the position as well as to include drug and alcohol testing. · Satisfy all requirements of PAT/FFD/RWT · Ability to navigate and possess Basic Computer Skills · Proactively support Westinghouse and Energy programs, policies, procedures, strategic plans, and specific goals. · Possess good oral and written communication skills · Ability to understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures, and directives associated with working at a nuclear power plant. · Commitment to personal safety and industrial safety. · Be assertive and self-motivated, with ability to work independently or with minimum oversight. · May be required to support sister sites on an emergent short-term need. · Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights. · Ability to complete training to operate various equipment within utility operations. · May be required to pass physical requirements associated with wearing a respirator. · Ability to work in adverse conditions such as high temperatures, confined spaces, etc. · Forklift operation experience preferred, not required Physical Requirements · Must meet physical requirements outlined in this document which include the ability to traverse steps and other uneven surfaces, lift equipment and trash bags that weigh up to 50lbs.
