The role focuses on acquiring and managing client relationships, understanding investment needs, delivering suitable financial solutions, and maintaining client service and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with HNI, UHNI, corporate, and retail clients.
- Acquire clients through networking, referrals, business development, and market outreach.
- Understand clients’ financial goals, investment needs, and risk profiles; promote and explain suitable financial and investment products.
- Manage client relationships from onboarding through ongoing service and achieve business-development, revenue, and acquisition targets.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, and Product teams on onboarding and servicing.
- Complete client documentation and KYC accurately in accordance with regulations; maintain accurate activity records.
- Follow up, identify cross-selling and relationship-expansion opportunities, and monitor markets, products, industry developments, and regulations.
Qualifications and required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in relationship management, wealth management, investment advisory, private banking, brokerage, asset management, or financial services.
- Proven client acquisition and revenue generation experience; understanding of financial products, investment markets, and client risk profiling.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Preferred experience
- An existing client network or portfolio is an advantage.
- UAE financial-services experience is an advantage.
- Relevant CMA/SCA-regulated financial-services experience is preferred.
- Wealth management, financial advisory, or portfolio management is listed as preferred.
