A senior leader will drive the growth of a Dubai reinsurance and MGA business within an established broking group.
The business has a property binder for industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing risks, with inbound enquiries and group relationships.
What you will do
- Meet brokers and insurers, win slips, and work placements through to completion.
- Work with cedants, reinsurers, and capacity providers.
- Lead property binder distribution and improve conversion of incoming enquiries.
- Grow reinsurance business for external brokers and insurers.
- Bring market relationships and business to the platform; build and shape the DIFC operation.
What you need
- Reinsurance broking or underwriting experience in the UAE or wider region.
- Established relationships with UAE and regional insurers, reinsurers, or capacity providers.
- Personal track record of business placed or written.
- Strength in property and non-medical lines; industrial risks are ideal.
- Binder, MGA, or delegated authority experience is advantageous.
- DIFC or DFSA experience is a plus.
- Ownership mindset and comfort working without a large-firm structure.
- Fluent English and based in Dubai.
