Role Overview
Manage on-site rebar installation, formwork, and concrete pouring for reinforced concrete structures.
Ensure construction activities meet engineering specifications, quality requirements, and safety codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural drawings, rebar placement plans, and architectural specifications.
- Direct rebar fixers, concrete laborers, and finishing crews on daily tasks.
- Inspect rebar size, spacing, alignment, and formwork stability before and during concrete placement.
- Oversee concrete mixing, pouring, consolidation, and curing processes.
- Maintain OSHA or local health and safety protocols on site.
- Schedule equipment deliveries, manage material inventories, and coordinate project timelines with general contractors.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in reinforced concrete construction or as a concrete or steel foreman.
- Deep knowledge of concrete mix designs, rebar fabrication, shoring, and formwork systems.
- High school diploma.
- Technical certification or a degree in construction management or civil engineering is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities for managing diverse site crews.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,500–AED 4,500 per month.
