UNIT NAME: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit-2
Patient Population: Neonates & Pediatrics up to 14 years.
Mixed Gender
Hours of Operation: 24 hours / 7 days per week
Primary Patient Diagnoses
Congenital and acquired complex cardiac defect with other co-morbidities Pre and Post Cardiac Surgery
Pre and Post Diagnostic, lnterventional Cardiac Catheterization
High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation (Hfov)
Insertion, Management and / or Monitoring of Invasive Lines, CVP/ART/LA / PA/RA Emergency Chest Re-Opening, and management of patient with open sternum Emergency Bedside Atrial Septostomy
Peritoneal Dialysis
Insertion and Removal of Chest Tubes
Administration of lnotropes
