We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a DHA license or DHA eligibility letter to join our dental clinic team.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dental procedures, assist dental professionals, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
This role requires strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental care team.
Key Responsibilities
- *Patient Care:*
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with dental professionals.
- Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Provide postoperative care and instructions to patients and their families.
- ***Assistance During Procedures:***
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures.
- Hand instruments and materials to dental professionals as needed.
- Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use.
- ***Medical Record Management:***
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Document all care and procedures provided to patients in electronic health records (EHR).
- ***Patient Education:***
- Educate patients on oral health, postoperative care, and preventive measures.
- Provide information on medications, potential side effects, and proper usage.
- ***Emergency Response:***
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid or life support measures.
- Assist in managing patient pain and anxiety during dental procedures.
- ***Coordination of Care:***
- Collaborate with dental and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists as needed.
- ***Infection Control and Safety:***
- Implement and adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by following clinic policies.
- ***Inventory and Supplies Management:***
- Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and medications.
- Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure the clinic is well-equipped.
- ***Patient Communication:***
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
License/Certification
- Eligibility letter or DHA (Required)
