The Role

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in home settings, following individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' health conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including daily observations and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease management, and medication adherence.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations and standards for homecare nursing services.
• Maintain hygiene and infection control standards during home visits.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with nursing best practices and certification requirements.

Requirements

• Valid DOH license and certification as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven experience in homecare nursing or similar healthcare settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to detail.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations in UAE, particularly for homecare services.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes within Al Ain region.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
• 12 hr duty/ 2 days week off
