Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate **Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD)** to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient setting while ensuring compliance with the standards of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), organizational policies, and professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and document medical history, vital signs, and clinical findings.
- Prepare patients for physician consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
- Assist physicians during consultations and outpatient procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed.
- Coordinate referrals, laboratory investigations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up care.
- Maintain adequate supplies and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Active **DoH Registered Nurse License** or **DoH Eligibility Letter**.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum **2 years of recent nursing experience**, preferably in an outpatient clinic, primary healthcare, family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty clinic.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Preferably who can join immediately
- Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
