We are looking for a professional **Receptionist** to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth front-desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain the healthcare facility’s appointment system
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and patient follow-ups
- Verify patient information, update records, and ensure accuracy of all data
- Process patient files, insurance cards, and referral documents when required
- Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other departments to facilitate patient flow
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to healthcare standards
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and ready for daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service staff in a healthcare setting **(preferably in clinics, hospitals, medical centers, or related sectors)**
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Professional demeanour with a patient-centric approach
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and appointment management systems
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle high patient volumes
- Currently based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi preferred)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional certification in healthcare administration or customer service is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
