Job Summary And Key Objectives
- The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing and expanding Camfil's market presence for Power Systems in assigned territories around MEA.
- This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and executing sales initiatives aligned with Camfil's strategic objectives. A critical responsibility is outreach and building brand leadership for Camfil as a top provider of air inlet and acoustic solutions for turbomachinery, including gas turbines, compressors, and diesel engines.
- Role priorities
1. Market Development & Outreach
- Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies for Camfil Power Systems.
- Build Camfil's brand visibility and establish its authority in the power systems space.
- Identify and engage industries such as oil & gas, utilities, power generation, and industrial infrastructure.
- Drive outreach through client visits, presentations, and networking with EPCs and OEMs.
- Manage sales operations across assigned territories with a focus on account growth, retention, and upselling.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key industry sectors for power systems.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in the use of Camfil filters, acoustic enclosures, and air inlet systems.
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity
3. Account Management & Customer Relations
- Deepen existing client relationships by offering tailored filtration and noise reduction solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and main contact for power systems clients.
- Liaise with technical and factory teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Provide product training and technical workshops for client teams.
4. Market Expansion & Brand Positioning
- Increase brand awareness through targeted marketing and networking initiatives.
- Represent Camfil at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Enhance Camfil's regional footprint by coordinating with operations, factory, and service teams to improve service delivery, optimize partnerships, and ensure efficient supply chain integration.
- Build strategic collaborations with consultants, OEMs, and contractors to expand reach.
5. Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with the marketing and project teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies.
- Provide customer feedback and insights to streamline project/technical and or service improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
6. Performance Management & KPI Execution
- Monitor and build sales pipeline, business performance, and market trends to ensure consistent progress towards objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Continuously improve outreach and sales strategies based on performance data, feedback, and market conditions.

1. Technical & Industry Skills
- **Strong knowledge**
- of the local market, including turbomachinery, gas turbines, compressors, and associated filtration/acoustic needs.
- Familiarity with
- air inlet filtration, noise control, and self-cleaning filtration systems

Education
:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience

years of technical sales or business development experience in power systems, industrial air solutions, or related sectors (e.g., gas turbines, compressors, acoustics, or filtration systems).

Proven track record of
driving market expansion
