Regional Sales Manager – OEM Accounts

will be responsible for driving growth and expanding OEM-focused sales and aftermarket business across the MENA region.

This role focuses on developing strategic OEM partnerships, increasing revenue through equipment sales, lifecycle services, upgrades, and long-term service agreements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in building and managing OEM channels within industrial or process-driven environments.

Experience

with switchgear, panel builders, and electrical utility equipment manufacturers is highly preferred.

1. OEM Business Development

  • Develop and execute a regional OEM sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Identify, acquire, and grow strategic OEM accounts across key industry verticals
  • Drive equipment sales, system integration opportunities, and bundled service offerings
  • Establish OEM agreements, pricing frameworks, and commercial terms to enhance competitiveness

2. Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key OEM partners to ensure retention and growth
  • Conduct regular business reviews, product presentations, and joint planning sessions
  • Align company offerings with OEM product roadmaps and lifecycle requirements
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution

3. Sales Execution & Forecasting

  • Deliver on annual sales targets, margins, and market share objectives
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to protect and grow market position
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling of services, upgrades, and retrofit solutions

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineering, service, product, and supply chain teams to meet OEM requirements
  • Ensure timely technical support, proposal development, and execution of orders
  • Partner with marketing on OEM-focused campaigns, events, and co-branded initiatives

5. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor regional sales engineers handling OEM accounts
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and support team development through coaching and training

• New OEM Account Acquisition

  • Share of Wallet / Repeat Business (%)

• Forecast Accuracy & Pipeline Health

  • On-Time Proposal Submission & Order Fulfilment (%)

Qualifications & Skills

  • **Experience:**
  • 5–7 years of technical sales experience in electrical utilities, OEMs, or related sectors (Experience with companies such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Eaton, Vertiv is highly desirable)
  • **Industry Network:**
  • Strong relationships with key decision-makers in OEM and industrial sectors
  • **Core Competencies:**
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred)
  • **Additional Requirements:**
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the MENA region
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
