About This Role

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Director to lead and expand our cybersecurity distribution business across the Gulf region.

Based in Dubai, this role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing strategic vendor relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams across key GCC markets.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cybersecurity sales within a Value-Added Distribution (VAD) environment, strong regional market knowledge, and proven leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams.

1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth and market share expansion across the Gulf region (5 Gulf Countries)
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and high-growth segments within cybersecurity.
  • Own and deliver on sales targets, forecasts, and pipeline management.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a regional sales team across multiple countries.
  • Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for team members.
  • Build a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development planning.

3. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with global cybersecurity vendors and OEMs.
  • Drive joint business planning and go-to-market initiatives with vendors.
  • Strengthen relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators across the region.
  • Ensure alignment between vendor strategies and regional execution.

4. Channel Development

  • Expand and optimize the partner ecosystem across the Gulf region.
  • Enable partners through training, joint campaigns, and technical support.
  • Drive partner-led revenue growth and ensure partner profitability.

5. Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the region.
  • Position the company as a trusted cybersecurity distributor and advisor in the market.
  • Provide strategic input into product portfolio expansion and vendor selection.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Support marketing initiatives including events, campaigns, and regional brand positioning.
  • Ensure operational efficiency in deal execution, pricing, and logistics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum
  • 10+ years of experience in sales

Value-Added Distributor (VAD)

  • Experience working with leading cybersecurity vendors and technologies (e.g., network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, identity & access management).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
