Overview

We're looking for an experienced

Regional Manager

  • Container Services to lead operational performance, commercial growth and strategic development, based in the UAE.

What You'Ll Do

  • Lead and manage day-to-day container service operations, including repair, inspection, leasing, and sales
  • Take ownership of regional P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Drive profitability through cost control, resource optimisation, and operational efficiency
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies across two major markets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within container services and related markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, agents, customers, and stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership on container inspection, repair, and maintenance standards
  • Ensure compliance with IICL standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
  • Oversee process improvement initiatives and strengthen operational procedures
  • Lead and develop a regional team, including performance management and capability building
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture
  • Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal and external standards
  • What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience in container repair, maintenance, or maritime/logistics operations
  • Proven track record in regional or multi-site operational leadership
  • Strong commercial experience with full accountability for budgets and P&L
  • Deep technical knowledge of container design, inspection, repair, and maintenance processes
  • Familiarity with IICL standards (certification preferred)
  • Understanding of container lifecycle including leasing, trading, and spare parts
  • Strong leadership and people management skills across regional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and confident decision-making capability
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and profitability
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent)
