Regional Business Development Manager - Airports
About This Role
Objective:
- To provide existing key customer accounts in the Middle East and Africa region with a first-class service for current and new projects, informing them about new products, creating new project opportunities in the Airport sector
- To make regular visits to existing and potential customers in the MEA region (Monthly)
- To undertake desktop business development research to generate new leads and enquiries, including first contact to establish sales appointment with existing and potential new customers
- Develop a solution-led, consultative sales approach in line with the Company’s growth plan
- Provide feedback and local market information to the Company’s Marketing department in order to help create a coherent marketing policy which drives sales growth in the Company’s regional markets
- Work with the Company’s Design & Development department to provide information on local market needs and requirements in order to help drive new product development in line with Company’s strategic aims
Travel Required: Frequent Middle East and Africa region travel (monthly)
Key tasks:
Actively support the existing Key accounts within the Middle East and Africa region to ensure:
- Quotations/responses are completed on the same working day as the enquiry where practical
- Provide customer follow-up to quotes, media enquiries, catalogue requests, telephone enquiries and samples
- Ensure customers are fully briefed on latest product initiatives and promotions
- Ensure customers receive product training and support
- Ensure customers receive follow up calls for new product deliveries, first time deliveries, regular progress calls
- Provide pro-active sales calls to support sales target achievement, budgets and initiatives
- Obtain product feedback from end-users
- Ensure quality concerns and credit notes are processed in the same month as the concern is raised
- Extensive knowledge of customer base and contacts
- Develop leads and enquiries through basic desktop research
- Develop and implement a clear sales strategy to support the achievement of the Company’s Budget sales and margin plans
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive the growth in sales of new products developed by the Company and provide feedback and market intelligence on new product development requirements.
- Provide regular reporting and pipeline updates
Experience/Qualifications required
• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written skills in English and Arabic (French is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years sales management experience in a recognised industrial or b2b organisation with a sales focus
• Sales experience in selling goods in at least one of the following company's key sectors in the Middle East And Africa region: Airports & Mass Transportation, Retail, Health & Safety, Channel, Leisure & Tourism venues .
• Highly efficient clerical attributes and interpersonal skills
• Advanced PC Skills (Microsoft Office)
• Adaptable to change and absorbing of new information and processes

Job Type: Full-time
- Monday to Friday- 08.30 - 5.30 p.m.

Salary Package
- AED 15K to 20K monthly (depending on experience)
