Strategy and governance

• Lead development and execution of regional digital health strategies, roadmaps, and multi-year plans.
• Identify opportunities in digital maturity, interoperability, shared services, consolidation, standardization, and regional collaboration.
• Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, investment proposals, service models, and operating models.
• Monitor healthcare, technology, analytics, AI, and digital health trends and assess adoption opportunities.
• Implement and improve governance frameworks; oversee committees, working groups, and executive forums.
• Maintain governance documentation and oversee decision-making, escalation, risk, accountability, executive briefings, dashboards, and portfolio reporting.

Partnerships and contracts

• Build executive relationships and represent Regional Digital Health in regional, provincial, and external forums.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and consensus-building across organizations with differing priorities and operating requirements.
• Develop, negotiate, implement, and manage agreements with participating health providers, Ontario Health, vendors, and other partners.
• Serve as the primary business lead for regional vendor contract management.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Privacy and Security, and operational leaders on contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, procurements, and disputes.
• Develop contract governance and performance review mechanisms; support sustainable funding, cost-sharing, and shared-service agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation, renewal, consolidation, and vendor-management approaches.
