We are seeking an accomplished Reception Manager to join the front-of-house leadership team at a prestigious luxury private members club.The club is a sanctuary of refinement, discretion, and personal service where every interaction is considered and every detail matters.
The successful candidate will be a poised and experienced hospitality professional who leads by example, sets exacting standards, and takes quiet pride in delivering experiences that are seamless, unhurried, and entirely personal.
The Role
- Lead and manage the Reception and Host team, ensuring impeccable daily operations across all member touchpoints
- Oversee the arrival and departure experience, ensuring every member and guest feels genuinely welcomed and properly attended to Cultivate meaningful relationships with members, developing a thorough understanding of individual preferences and anticipating needs before they are expressed.
- Establish and uphold the club's service standards and codes of conduct
- Manage reservations, member correspondence, and special requests with efficiency and professionalism
- Coach, mentor, and develop the reception team through structured training and day-to-day guidance
- Address member feedback and resolve matters swiftly and discreetly
- Collaborate closely with Membership, Operations, and Food & Beverage teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven background as Reception Manager, Front Office Manager, or Senior Host within a luxury hotel, fine dining establishment, or private members club of recognised standing
- Demonstrable leadership capability with the confidence to motivate and hold standards
- Polished and articulate communicator, at ease with a discerning and high-profile membership
- An instinctive host: warm, attentive, and genuinely service-oriented
- Meticulous attention to detail with the organisational discipline to manage competing priorities without compromising quality
- Familiarity with private member club culture is an advantage
