Job Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for hotel guests, delivering exceptional customer service with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth.
The role involves handling check-in/check-out procedures, managing reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and providing information about hotel services.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required to effectively assist and communicate with a diverse range of guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional, friendly manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently in line with hotel standards.
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure smooth communication with all departments to meet guest needs.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing with accuracy.
- Maintain front desk area in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
- Uphold confidentiality and security of guest information.
- Assist non-English-speaking guests (especially Arabic speakers) to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
- Fluency in **Arabic and English** (both written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar) and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Professional grooming and presentation standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions
- Front office environment with frequent guest interaction.
- Shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Uniform provided as per hotel standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From QAR1,800.00 per month
