Job Summary

The Double Deep Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating specialized forklifts designed to handle and store goods in narrow aisles and high-rack shelving within warehouse and distribution environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Equipment Operation

• Safely operate reach truck equipment to move, lift, stack, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure the reach truck is in safe operating condition.

2. Material Handling

• Load and unload materials from vehicles and storage areas.
• Store materials in assigned locations and follow proper stock rotation methods.

3. Inventory Management

• Support cycle counts and stock audits.
• Maintain accurate product handling records and report any discrepancies.

4. Safety Compliance

• Strictly follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Participate actively in safety training programs and hazard awareness.

5. Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.

6. Team Coordination

• Work closely with warehouse and operations staff for loading/unloading tasks.
• Communicate clearly regarding material movement and stock status.

7. Quality Control

• Inspect inbound and outbound goods for accuracy and visible damage.
• Handle products carefully to prevent losses or damages.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily operational logs for equipment and material movement.
• Record and report any incidents, safety issues, or damages.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations.
• Valid Reach Truck Operator License (mandatory).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety rules and operational standards.
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrapping machines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labelling and product handling.
• Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks.
• Good communication skills and strong team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and shifting work environment.
