Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a similar role.
- Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of successful team development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, particularly related to revenue cycle.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and expertise in revenue cycle management and payor reimbursement strategies.
- Analyze contract proposals and collaborate on payor projects for optimal reimbursement.
- Oversee the accuracy of payments received from all payors and resolve any payment issues.
- Manage relationships with payors, ensuring a collaborative approach to claims processing accuracy.
- Schedule and lead meetings with payors to discuss payment-related matters and track issues to resolution.
- Escalate complex payment issues to Payor Innovations for further assistance and resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance in revenue cycle management.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and expertise.
- Collaborate with system services and affiliates to align on payment compliance and revenue cycle goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on payment compliance and revenue cycle performance.
