RCM and Medical Insurance Claim Officer
About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and detail oriented RCM & Medical Claims Officer to join our healthcare operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UAE healthcare insurance processes, medical coding, claims submission, resubmission, denial management, and Revenue Cycle Management operations while ensuring compliance with DHA regulations and insurance payer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end to end Revenue Cycle Management processes including eligibility verification, pre authorization, claim submission, resubmission, and reconciliation
- Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims through eClaimLink and insurance portals in compliance with DHA guidelines
- Review patient files, treatment notes, and medical documentation for accurate coding and billing
- Apply accurate ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards
- Monitor and follow up on approvals, rejected claims, underpayments, and unpaid claims
- build good professional relationship with insurance companies
- Bring the new insurance compnies for empanelment
- Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claim clarifications, approvals, and resubmissions
- Ensure medical necessity and compliance with payer policies and DHA standards
- Analyze claim rejection trends and support corrective action plans to minimize denials
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of patient and billing information
- Support audit readiness, insurance reconciliation, and reporting activities
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, finance, and front office teams to improve billing efficiency and claim turnaround time
- Ensure compliance with NABIDH, DHA regulations, and internal policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, Life Science, or related field
- CPC Certification or equivalent medical coding certification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of UAE experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Claims, Insurance Billing, or Medical Coding
- Strong knowledge of ICD 10, CPT, HCPCS coding, and UAE insurance billing processes
- Hands on experience with eClaimLink, insurance portals, and EMR systems
- Good understanding of DHA regulations, payer billing guidelines, and pre authorization processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet submission timelines
- Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage
