Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and UAE experienced female Anesthesia Technologist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will support anesthesiologists and medical teams in preparing, maintaining, and monitoring anesthesia equipment and patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
The candidate must ensure compliance with DHA license and regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia machines, monitoring devices, and related equipment before surgical procedures
- Assist anesthesiologists during induction, maintenance, and recovery phases of anesthesia
- Ensure all anesthesia supplies, medications, and consumables are available and properly stored
- Monitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of equipment checks and maintenance logs
- Support patient preparation and positioning before procedures
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and DHA healthcare standards at all times
- Coordinate with nursing and surgical teams for smooth operation theatre workflow
- Handle emergency equipment and assist during critical situations when required
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the operation theatre and anesthesia workstations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Anesthesia Technology or related healthcare field
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Anesthesia Technologist
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in hospitals or surgical centers
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and OT procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
Preferred Skills
- Experience in multi specialty surgical procedures specially in day surgery center or hospital
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and professional conduct
- Basic life support certification is an advantage
